St Peter’s and St Wilfrid’s Choirs (Harrogate) join forces for a performance of Handel’s Messiah with John Lonfstaff (conductor) and Anthony Gray (organ).

Anthony directs Halifax Choral Society in their annual candlelit performance of Handel’s Messiah, with the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra, Darius Battiwalla (Harpsichord), Alan Horsey (Organ), Brittany King (Soprano), Matthew Farrell (Alto), Matthew Spillet (Tenor) and Andri Björn Róbertsson (Bass).

Anthony accompanies Vocalis chamber choir for their annual Christmas concert, conducted by James Savage-Hanford.

Join Halifax Choral Society Conductor Anthony Gray and expert Vocal Coach Ed Jones for the culmination of HCS’s ‘Learn to Sing - Messiah’ course. The day’s singing will be led by both musicians, alongside accompanist Phil Voldman, and arias from the Choral Scholars of HCS.

Anthony directs Leeds Methodist Choir in their 2025 concert, featuring music by Haydn, Goodall, Mozart and Taylor Scott Davis, with Alan Horsey (Organ and Piano), Olivia Hunt (Soprano), Lydia Palmer (Alto), Niki Zohdi (Tenor) and Charles Murray (Bass).

Anthony directs the choir of St Paul King Cross for Solemn Evensong at Blackburn Cathedral.

Anthony performs an organ recital at All Saints’ Church, Leek as part of their 140th anniversary celebrations. His programme takes us ‘Bach to the Future’ with music from the great master Johann Sebastian Bach, through to contemporary composers, and all sorts in between!

In this evening concert, join Anthony under Luke Jerram’s amazing ‘Gaia’ installation for a journey through the universe as you travel from Bob Chilcott’s awakening Sun dance, through to Hans Zimmer’s epic intergalactic score for Interstellar. The evening will also feature the transcendent works Pari Intervallo by Arvo Pärt and Le Banquet Céleste by Olivier Messiaen, both of which will showcase the organ’s extraordinary ability to convey both ethereal beauty and deep spiritual resonance.
