Anthony Gray is an organist, accompanist, conductor and composer based in Yorkshire.
He is Director of Music of St Wilfrid’s Church, Harrogate, Conductor and Artistic Director of Halifax Choral Society, Deputy Director of Harrogate Choral Society and an examiner for the ABRSM.

Organist
As an organist and teacher, Anthony has very broad experience of the anglican choral tradition. This includes standard Cathedral choral and solo repertoire as well as a diverse range of new and unfamiliar music. He is always keen to be contacted about new music and projects. He is Director of Music at St Wilfrid, Harrogate.
Conductor
As a conductor, Anthony has wide-ranging experience with both professional and amateur groups, as well as children and young people. He is also enthusiastic about programming new and up-and-coming music with his groups. He is Artistic Director and Conductor of Halifax Choral Society, and a Deputy Director of Harrogate Choral Society.
Pianist and Accompanist
Anthony has a comprehensive background as an instrumental and exam accompanist, alongside work as a répétiteur and in musical theatre. Alongside his regular commitments with choirs and groups, he is often available for concerts, exams and workshops.

Teacher and Examiner
Anthony is an experienced piano and organ tutor and an examiner for the ABRSM. He has taught in a number of schools across Yorkshire for the Diocese of Leeds, as well as at Rishworth and Heathfield schools and Harrogate Ladies’ College. He is also available for private lessons.
